On Monday I decided that I should go buy some stuff for the piggies and I ended up with a lot of stuff:
- a lot of wood shavings, 4 bags to be more precise
- food 5 kg for my guineas
- a playing pen so they can run around in a bigger space
-a guinea corner toilet -best invention for piggies even known to man
- a big hay rack
and a rock to chew on that they seem very unatracted to.
From all I got, except the basics (which I bought in bulk to save some money in the future), the corner toilet is the best thing ever. I noticed they used to pee and poop in the corner, so now when they do it I can clean it up even 2 times a day, and it saves me a lot of cleaning the whole cage and it makes the cage not stink since I can keep it much more cleaner.
The playing pen was also a great idea. I will show you how I have it set up in the n ext post in which hopefully I will put some pictures in too. All I can say is that I use towels, garbage begs, and the pan. Of course I put their little toilet in the corner so I don't need to struggle in cleaning after them.

Meet Pie and Cookie
I just bought two gorgeous guinea pigs without really thinking about it too much a few days ago. The funny thing is that now I realize it was the best idea I had in a while. They have to be the nicest pets in the world.
Their names are Pie and Cookie (yes, I was hungry when I named them) and they are two beautiful girls, mother and daughter. Pie is two years old, and cookie is 6 months old. The are both very happy and cute, but Cookie is a bit shy and scared of people. I assume the previous owners ignored her so now I am trying hard to get her accustomed to people and cure her of her shyness.
When I bought them they came with a cage -that is a bit too small for them, but I am saving up for a bigger cage right now, a bit of food, hay, and a little house to hide in. I recently went shopping and went a little wild on the spending, but I am sure my babies will be very happy with what I got them.
Well, all that will come up in another post and some pictures so you can see them for yourself if you don't trust me that they are cute.
